I guess I can announce the contest winner... I had 4 anonymous friends listen to and read all the entries and the winner is Anne from Knit Spot CONGRATULATIONS... her entry was...

"this is the bad-boys of fashion corset-sweater

this is a corset that is tightly boned of a mesh knit fabric, and
very very fitted. the bra is extremely pointy and cone-shaped, a la
jean-paul gautier, circa 1990 (the madonna collection), each cup has
a stitch pattern which makes it look like is covered with a spider
web. the bra is opaque, but the body of the corset is more sheer.
then it goes right into a garter belt which is also heavier-weight,
and which forms a cross or an "X" over the crotch area (knit
stockings to match the spider web of the bra are optional)

attached to the waist are two tethers, which connect to elbow-length
gauntlets with VERY sharp and pointy cuffs, a la giancarlo ferre,
circa 1990. the tethers are long enough to lift a drink, but not long
enough to drive or hail a taxi.

the whole thing is done in a silk-based yarn of deep teal/black/
purple/blue that looks iridescent. the bra and gauntlets in a heavier
weight, like briar rose sea pearl, or fleece artist sea silk, the
body maybe in a kidsilk haze which has been dyed to match
the bottom edge of the corset has a trim made of one of jacey's
yarns, maybe something called "bad, bad, girl!"'
